Qualification Criteria for TNPSC Subordinate Services Exam 2023

| College Librarian in Government Law Colleges | A Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science, Documentation Science, or an equivalent professional degree, with at least fifty-five percent of marks. |
| Librarian and Information Officer in Anna Centenary Library in Public Libraries Department | (i) A Master’s Degree from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission; (10+2+3+2 pattern) and (ii) A Master’s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science of a University recognized by the University Grants Commission; and (iii) Must have experience as Librarian for not less than five years in Academic or Public or Special or Corporate Libraries. |
| District Library Officer | (i) Any Master’s Degree from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission in the pattern of 10+2 or its equivalent + 3 + 2; and (ii) A Master’s degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science of a University recognized by the University Grants Commission; and (iii) Must have experience for not less than three years in any of the libraries in a supervisory cadre. |

- Relaxation in the upper age limit will follow the Government of Tamil Nadu rules.
Selection Process for TNPSC Subordinate Services Exam 2023
- For Interview posts: The candidates will be selected based on their performance in Written Examination (OMR/ Computer Based Test Method) and Interview.
- For Non-Interview posts: The candidates will be selected based on their marks in the Written Examination.
Application Fee For TNPSC Subordinate Services Exam 2023
- All candidates must pay ₹150/- (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty only) as the Registration Fee.
- Apart from the above, they will have to pay an Examination Fee of ₹200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) for Interview posts and ₹100/- (Rupees Hundred only) for Non-Interview posts.
Note: Application Fees is not refundable in any case.
